Problem
Fennimore United Methodist Church reached out to us to redesign their outdated website that was difficult to maintain and did not adequately represent their church. The previous site had limited functionality and was not user-friendly, which hindered their ability to engage with the congregation and the wider community. Research and Analysis
Our team conducted extensive research to gain insights into the website design of other church websites, including Methodist churches, and other churches in the area. We identified common features and best practices that could guide the redesign of Fennimore United Methodist Church’s website. Additionally, we conducted surveys and interviews with members of the church to understand their preferences, needs, and expectations regarding the website.
Information Architecture and Content Strategy
Before designing the website, we created an information architecture diagram to map out the pages and content of the site.
